At 7 p.m. Thursday, the Dallas Museum of Art is hosting the creators of the cool crafting 'zine for a workshop at which attendees will use recyclable objects to create pieces inspired by architect Frank Gehry and the museum's Materials - Meanings exhibit. The exhibit, on display through summer 2009, focuses on eight masterworks of art curated from the museum's collection.
All levels of artistry are welcome; museum admission and art supplies are included with the $50 registration fee.
For budding DIYers with no cash to spare, no worries: At 9 p.m. Sept. 19, the creators and editors of ReadyMade will be on hand for a conversation on all things hip, crafty, DIY and handmade
